ABOUT ENDLESS JOY

Endless joy Is an Art Project from Stevie & Alexandra Anderson. Born on the wind and made with love, original artworks are exhibited on carefully selected eco-friendly fabrics.

Each artwork is instilled with imagery found in the hallucinogen of world culture and comparative mythology. Imbued with cryptic symbology, myth and mystery and paying deep respect to the history of human symbolism and the veneration of nature.

All garments are made in Bali, in strictly limited editions of 100 or less. We support a network of craftspeople, artisans, textile experts, and environmental stewards. For every garment sold 3 trees are planted.

OUR ETHOS

The fundamental principle of Endless Joy is to create less. Less is more. Use less. Buy less. We directly oppose all forms of fast fashion and throwaway culture. We are for Quality, not quantity.

To combat gross over consumption we produce a limited edition of under 100 pieces for each garment. We create consciously and use the finest quality eco-friendly fabrics and dyes.

Time and love is invested into each piece, our aim is to create meaningful works of art and garments that people can treasure for a lifetime.

At the core of Endless Joy is art. The visuals we share are often stories, they speak of nature, spirit, humanity and beyond. It is our hope to engage people through art, to stir a curiosity and spark a want to live with a deeper connection to our fellow human and our planet and to be inspired by the awe and mystery of life.

EARTH FRIENDLY MATERIALS

Our printed fabrics are ethically sourced by our print partners and fabric supplier in, Bali Indonesia. Our printe partners are The first digital printing company in Indonesia that uses Eco Friendly Raw Materials and is Certified by ISO.

They use a digital printing technology that only requires 10% of the water used in comparison to traditional screen printing. The water is then safely treated, recycled and reused in a closed loop system.

All fabrics are printed using non-toxic OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 inks— eliminating the discharge of any noxious effluents, and offering a more positive environmental impact.

Our woven fabrics are crafted in the Netherlands by master Dutch weavers, the first Dutch textile company to be awarded the OEKO-TEX STeP- Certificate for Sustainability in Textile Production Level 2.

All fabrics are woven with NewlifeTM Yarns and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Yarns and all looms in the factory operate on 100% green energy.

For our natural tye dye garments, we work with a workshop in Bali, one of the only dye manufacturers in Asia which makes all its colourings entirely from nature. The company has mastered the use of 5 plants: mango leaves, umbrella leaves, mahogany leaves, indigofera leaves and sappan wood bark. These colours are then used by to blend a large variety of other hues.

The only animal products used in the production of Endless joy garments are :

Silk fabrics- Our silk is Grade A certified Mulberry silk with the raw materials sourced in China. We cannot guarantee that the silk worms were not harmed in the making of the raw silk.

Shell buttons - our mother of pearl shell buttons are ethically sourced in Indonesia from a small button supplier.

ZERO WASTE

Waste is antithetical to our ethos and goals as artists and human beings—being on this ‘one and only’ planet.

Waste hurts the planet and hurts our souls. We are always looking for ways to reduce waste and reuse materials.

It starts at the cutting stage. We work very closely with our pattern makers to minimise fabric consumption. The small but inevitable amount of textile waste is then recycled and reused.

Garments are packed in dust-bags made from fabric offcuts which customers can keep their garments in long-term or reuse in their daily lives.

TREE PLANTING

For every Endless Joy item sold... 3 trees are planted.

Thanks to the support of our customers and our partnership with The Eden Reforestation Project, we are able to do our part to help reduce extreme poverty, employ local villagers and plant millions of trees every year. The Eden Project has a holistic approach to reforestation and ecological restoration.

Since they began over 300 million trees have been planted around the world in Ethiopia, Madagascar, Nepal, Haiti, Mozambique, Kenya, and Indonesia.
