MYTH & MADNESS - caught in a weave
Towards a Centre Tapestry. Born from the imagination and inspired by Indian miniature paintings. A heap of happy humans, bare bummed, buxom and bathing exist in an unknown paradise, a natural world filled with splendour and delight.
A Fusion of Myth, Imagination, and Artistry
Step into the world of Endless Joy, where myth tangles with life and death, and art rises from the ashes of imagination. Founders Stevie and Alexandra Anderson don’t make blankets and tapestries—they summon them. Each piece, born from hand-painted visions, carries the weight of old gods, wild stories, and the hallucinations of cultures long forgotten.
This isn’t just fabric. Each piece is a relic unraveling and weaving itself back together, pulled tight by master hands.
The heart of this collection beats against the raw edges of North Yorkshire. The winds off Redcar’s South Gare, the quiet defiance of Saltburn Beach, the stoic grace of Emmanuel Church—these places hold secrets. The Bowes Museum and Dorman Museum’s Nelson Room echo with history, and photographer Ben Benoliel captured it all: light, shadow, and the quiet truth of beautiful things.
